At church camp in 2025, we did a deep dive into Romans 8 and life in the Spirit. Pastors Elise, Joey, Lani, Tim and Kirrily opened up the scriptures and invited us into the rich, life giving, Spirit filled life of every believer. (unfortunately Lani’s brilliant message on Romans 8:14-17 at the worship night wasn’t recorded).
In this first talk, Pastor Elise opens up Romans 8:1-4 and there being no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
In the second talk, Pastor Joey opened up Romans 8:5-13 and the contrast between living according to the flesh and according to the Spirit.
In the third talk, Pastor Tim opened up Romans 8:18-27 and the role of Spirit filled children of God in liberating the world from frustration and how the Spirit helps us in our weakness.
In the final talk, Pastor Kirrily opened up Romans 8:28-30 and how as Spirit filled children of heaven partner with God, he works all things towards a glorious future.
