Life Groups

We believe we do life better when we do it together!

At the heart of Manly Life is our Life Groups – mid week small communities of people who gather together in homes around Manly. Every second week the Life Groups gather and eat together, study the bible and pray for each other. It is about being connected as friends and growing as disciples of Jesus together.

Currently we have 10 Life Groups… to visit a group to see if it is right for you, call Tim on 0404076504.

Life Group 2018 Survey

As we pray and plan into 2018 we are reevaluating the way we run Life Groups and are considering some changes to our Life Groups structures. We would value feedback from our Manly Life Family, so please read through some of the different options below and send us your comments. Thank you!

a) Smaller more intimate Life Groups of 10-15 people who come together once a term with other Life Groups – similar to how they run now.

b) Larger Life Communities of 15-30 people. Lead by four leaders, with a continued focus on beginning with a time of fellowship, but then having a time of worship & prayer, followed by 10min meaty teaching sessions (creating opportunities for more people with teaching gifts to use this within the life of the community) and breaking into small discipleship groups of 4-5 people on the back of the teaching time.

c) Dinner parties model – 6-8 people, a greater focus around eating together, friendship, study of the word, worship & prayer within the dinner party setting.

d) A mixture of all the above to run within the life of the church.
